Scarything - Adding Sound in FLASH R.Durfee - Cedar Middle School
CAUTION: Before starting this assignment, be sure to have your headphones on and the sound level not too high. Also, you are going to be adding a scary picture to your FLASH animation. You may choose a scary picture from Shared S: Drive folder: Scary Pictures
NOTE: YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO LOOK FOR SCARY IMAGES ON THE INTERNET

Now you are experts at some of the very basics of FLASH animation software it is time to start working with sound.

Adding sound in FLASH is relatively easy. The hardest part is making certain your sound file format is correct. The best format for FLASH is wav mp3.

Once you have a WAV file it is simply a matter of importing this sound file to your Library. Then when you want to add the sound simply click on the frame you want the sound added and go down to the bottom of your screen, to the <Properties> screen and select the sound.
